This will be a small class with limited tickets, which will create an intimate learning environment for you to soak everything in and ask as many questions as you’d like.
* We will start model prep and class set up at 9:30am the day of class, which includes a malibu color prep and long layered cut to set my canvas on my model. Attendees are welcome to come early to watch the cut as long as they rsvp at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can have an early morning headcount. From 10am until approximately 2:30pm is theory while I paint the live model and do Q&A. We also have each stylist come up and paint a couple of the strokes I’m demonstrating with one of my assistants on a mannequin next to me while I’m painting the model. The host salon provides a light lunch around 1:00, but I work through lunch so stylists can bring their lunch back to their chair or eat while we’re setting up for the hands on portion. From about 2:30 until about 5:30pm is hands on and more Q&A. Sometimes we finish early, sometimes we run a couple minutes over, it honestly just depends on the group we have. I bring everything needed to paint together in groups of 2-3 during the hands on portion of class. We have found that stylists learn best this way, however if anyone wants to paint individually, you are welcome to bring your own human hair mannequin and tripod to class and use our supplies to paint.
*Tickets for class are $400/stylist. To hold your spot in class, an initial non-refundable deposit of $250.00 can be made by clicking here. The month of class, a link will be emailed to you with the final payment of $150.00, and must be completed no less than 7 days prior to class.
